GPT – Melbourne to Millan

This is a interactive retail kiosk I developed for GPT Group while my time with TKM9 . The installation consisted of two retail pods that inside high foot traffic areas within Melbourne Central. These were custom made retail pods with a touch screen, barcode scanner and printing facilities.

Features of this kiosk included :

Touch Screen

Barcode Scanner – The Barcode Scanner would be used to see if the customer had a valid ticket to enter the competition

Printer –  A printer was located on the right side of the pod.  If the user was a successful winner of an instant prize they would recieve a print out with steps on how to retrieve the prize.

Proximity Sensor – A proximity sensor was used to start a welcome sequence once the user came close enough the the pod.  This was to ensure the pod went into a quiet ‘idle’ state when not being in use.
